Puppet Lab is a nine month residency at St. Ann's Warehouse in Dumbo Brooklyn.
Paper Piece tells the story of a young girl and how her imagination is inspired by the urban design books she leafed through in her father's library.
Using large squares of paper as a landscape and a projection screen, it folds to reveal the images in her mind. Using acrobatics and puppetry, the story is told through the lens of a child's imagination.
